Deputy Milli Majlis chairman meets Chinese Communist Party representatives

Ziyafat Asgarov said the relations between Azerbaijan and China have noticeably developed since Azerbaijan regained its independence.

He recalled Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev`s China visit, and said it marked a new stage in the enhancement of the bilateral ties between the two countries.

Mr. Asgarov said development of relations between the ruling parties of Azerbaijan and China - the New Azerbaijan Party and the Communist Party of China - is also very important.

The first Deputy Chairman of the Milli Majlis informed the Chinese guests about Azerbaijan's economy.

Ziyafat Asgarov also expressed his gratitude to the Chinese government for supporting Azerbaijan's territorial integrity.
Ma Venpu said his country places a particular emphasis on its relationship with Azerbaijan.

The deputy chief of Foreign Affairs department at the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party also praised Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's role in deepening the bilateral ties between the two countries.
