Witnesses give testimony in Ali Insanov's trial

Today trial on case of former Health Minister Ali Insanov and ten more defendants accused of embezzlement, abuse of power and bribery continued in the second part of the day at Azerbaijan's Court of Grave Crimes.

The sitting is presided over by Judge Faig Gasimov, APA reports.

Vugar Mustafayev gave testimony to the court; the witness noted that he appealed to Health Ministry to privatize the establishment under the ministry. According to Mustafayev after presenting necessary documents to the ministry, he gave 82m AZM bribe to privatization.

Then the representative of sufferer Leyla Efendiyeva, Mukhtar Mustafayev was interrogated. He noted Leyla Efendiyeva was dismissed by the order of the minister.

"She appealed to Nasimi Court on the case. Her claims were allowed. But Ali Insanov did not execute court's decision," he noted.

The trial will be continued on March 28.
