Peter Semneby: "My visit to IDPs camps aimed to get acquainted with living conditions"

On Sunday European Union Special Representative for the South Caucasus Peter Semneby visited internally displaced-persons camps in Galagayin settlement of Sabirabad region in Azerbaijan.

In his statement to the APA, Peter Semneby said his visit to the DP camps aimed to get acquainted with the living conditions of IDPs.

The EU special representative said that he met with IDPs and familiarized himself with their living conditions in the camps. Semneby also met with officials of the region.

On Monday Peter Semneby will have meeting with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov, and tomorrow with representatives of NGOs and human rights defenders.
