Russian Ambassador: "Azerbaijanis not deported from Russia"

He said that the situation on fulfillment of migration legislation in Russia is not perfect, but no serious problems have been observed recently.

"Any country, as well as Azerbaijan tries to establish order in the field of migration. It is normal," he said.

Istratov said we should not forget that Russia is negotiating with the European Union on softening visa regime.

The ambassador noted that one of the main concerns of the EU about Russia was strict migration legislation, APA reports.
