PACE calls on member states not to use energy supply as political weapon

Discussion on using energy supply as political weapon was held in the next meeting of PACE winter session.

According to the information, a relation was adopted at the end of the meeting. The resolution called on member states not to use energy supply as political weapon and to formalize stable and reliable energy system on the basis of long-term agreements and transparent rivalry.

The document expresses concern over monopolism of Russia's gas giant Gazprom, APA correspondent in Strasbourg reports.
