Turkish Land Forces commander to visit Azerbaijan

Turkish Armed Forces Staff assistant chief, Land Forces commander Ilker Bashbugh will visit Azerbaijan next month, Turkish ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Azerbaijan Turan Morali told reporters.

He said that Ilker bashbugh will meet with the chiefs of Azerbaijani military structures. Stating that Turkey will continue military aid to Azerbaijan, the ambassador said that the military cooperation between the countries will be enlarged.

"We intend to enlarge programmes related to military education, staff qualification and exchange of experience. Application of new mechanisms in this field is being planned," he said, APA reports.
