Vahid Aliyev: "Azeri Armed Forces to be further improved next year"

Azerbaijan Armed Forces come inline with NATO standards step by step, said Azerbaijani President's adviser for military and security affairs Lieutenant-General Vahid Aliyev.

He told APA that the IPAP between Azerbaijan and NATO comes to an end in Jan uary, 2008 and after that, Intensive Dialogue Phase will start.

"Azerbaijan leads the post-soviet states for the progress on the IPAP. A number of significant changes will be made in Azerbaijan Armed Forces next year. Baku corps has already changed into the NATO standards," he said.
