Conference on "Legislative acts and youth interests: realities and perspective views" was held within the project "Azerbaijan Youth Parliament – The Second Part".

The project is realized by financial support of Azerbaijan - America Youth Social Unity, Norwegian Embassy in Azerbaijan and US Agency for International Development European Fund, APA reports.

The project coordinator Vugar Ahmadov said that Regional Coordination councils of the Youth Parliament were established in the 17 regions of the country. He noted that a survey was conducted in 9 regions of the country to investigate the regional problems and needs of the youth.

The survey was conducted among 665 young men on the theme "What do the youth want?".

63% of the respondents were men and 37% were women. 32% of the respondents consider that t  he main problem of the youth is unemployment, 17.5% lack of own flats, 26% corruption in education, 14% Nagorno Karabakh problem, 3% marriage, 5.5% difficulties in the army and 2% narcotism and AIDS.

As solution of the problem 19% of the respondents proposed to create new jobs and 21% to ensure the execution of the existing laws.

Parliamentarian Fuad Muradov considers mobilization a way out. He thinks that the youth represented in different social organizations should inform the Government bodies and parliamentarians of the problem.

Alimammad Nuriyev, Constitutional Investigations Fund chairman said that in order to solve the problem it is important to prepare a special privileged program.

He noted that the hypothec programme is not able to solve the flat problem of the youth. The result is the strict conditions.
