The Armenian newspaper Hraparak recently published an
article that provides an interesting perspective on the Armenian opposition.
Samvel Karapetyan, often compared to Ruben Vardanyan as a
prominent figure in Armenian politics, held the founding congress of his new
political party.
The event was conducted with minimal public exposure: there
was no video, no live broadcast, and no official press release. This has led
some observers to note the discreet nature of the proceedings.
Even the name of the new party was not immediately
disclosed. Some reports, citing sources, suggest that it may be called
"Strong Armenia."
The cautious approach taken by Karapetyan’s team highlights
the careful planning involved in establishing a political movement in the
current Armenian political landscape.
