International action participants met with Nino Burjanadze

Azerbaijani Women National Confederation and Yeni Azerbaijan Party organization participants of international action on the subject "Heydar Aliyev Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline is guarantee of peace, security, stability and development" in the region, have hold several meetings in Georgia.

According to APA, Georgian Parliament representatives have met action members from Azerbaijan in "Girmizi korpu". Action participants held meetings in Marneuli where our compatriots live. Marneuli region Executive Power chairman Amirani Shibutidze said in his speech that, after BTC project realized, enough changes happened in the life of Georgian residents.

Their social welfare has become normal, pensions have increased as well as energy problem has been solved. Turkish representatives taking part in the project have also joined the action participants from Azerbaijan and Georgia. After that, action participants left for Tbilisi, visited Heyday Aliyev's grave in the park.

Action participants were received by Georgian parliament chairman Nino Burjanadze. In the meeting, Azerbaijan-Georgia-Turkey relations were subject of the talks, services of BTC was stressed in social–economic development of these countries. The delegation will leave for Turkey after staying in Tbilisi.

They will hold meetings with community representatives in Trabzon, Adana and Ceyhan, organize a measure in Ceyhan oil terminal. The action representatives will also meet with Turkish prime minister Rajab Tayyip Erdogan. The project will end May 7.
