Azerbaijani government is interested in democratic and transparent elections

This is position of Azerbaijani government and President, the Head of Public Affairs department in President's Office, Ali Hasanov told at the training seminar dedicated to modernizing the electoral practice in Azerbaijan,Trend reports.

All violations have to be rooted out in the beginning, he said.

"It doesn't matter who is violator - law enforcement representative, electoral official or ordinary citizen all will be punished according to the law," Hasanov said.

The given seminar was organized by the Baku office of International Fund of Electoral systems (IFES) and it hosted executive officials from 5 districts of Azerbaijan, heads of police departments and judicial bodies.
