Prime Minister Ali Asadov sent a congratulatory letter to Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz on the occasion of Republic Day, Azernews reports, citing the Cabinet of Ministers.
The letter highlighted that Turkiye is becoming one of the most powerful countries, rapidly strengthening and gaining significant influence on the international stage. It emphasized Azerbaijan’s pride and joy in Turkiye's achievements and its growing global reputation as a brotherly nation.
The message also noted that Azerbaijan's National Leader Heydar Aliyev’s phrase “One nation, two states” reflects the essence of the brotherhood, unity, and solidarity between the peoples of the two countries, as well as the true nature of their bilateral relations.
It was underlined that, thanks to the joint efforts of Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Recep Tayyip Erdo?an, Azerbaijan and Turkiye are currently the closest nations on a global scale.
The letter expressed confidence that Azerbaijan-Turkiye relations, which have reached the peak of alliance with the Shusha Declaration, will continue to develop successfully and progressively.
