The early launch of the Azerbaijan-Armenia border delimitation process is required, Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov said at the press conference with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, Trend reports.

"We have exchanged views on the stabilization of the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. We have a common opinion that the best solution would be to launch practical work on delimitation as soon as possible. A relevant bilateral Azerbaijani-Armenian commission has been established for this purpose. The parties agreed that it will work under Russian advisory assistance. Of course, it is important to ensure the full and stable operation of this mechanism," he said.
