Russian FM Lavrov says Armenia's accusations against Russian peacekeepers unfounded

Armenian Prime Minister Pashinyan's accusations against Russian peacekeepers are unfounded, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said during a press conference with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, held today in Moscow, Trend reports.

“We hear reproaches against our peacekeeping contingent. And on the part of the head of a country that has concluded trilateral agreements, this really does not happen so often. The Russian peacekeeping contingent clearly fulfills its tasks. Let me remind you that the situation on the ground is very difficult. Our military contingent is being subjected to unfounded accusations,” he said.
