President establishes Ministry of Defense Industry of Azerbaijan Republic

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed today a decree on establishing of a new ministry. Newly formed Ministry of Defense Industry of the Azerbaijan Republic will be formed on the basis of the State Committee on special machine-building and conversion.

The Cabinet of Ministers has been commissioned withing a month to develop and submit to the President a draft Charter of the Ministry, its structure, cost estimate and a staff list.

The decree is effective from the moment of its signing.
