Azerbaijan approves MoU on labor cooperation with Saudi Arabia [UPDATE]

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on Wednesday approving the "Memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the labor sphere between the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia".

The memorandum was originally signed July 13, 2021 in Baku and Riyadh.

After the entry into force of the memorandum, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan must ensure the implementation of its provisions.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan must notify the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia of the completion of the local procedures necessary for the entry into force of the Memorandum of Understanding.
