Asim Mollazada met with Council of Europe’s representative

Mollazada informed Lindberg of DRP’s goals and missions, as well as members of the organizing committee of the party, the party said in a statement.

The sides had also discussed the state of relations between Azerbaijan and the Council of Europe, as well as the existing sociopolitical situation in the country, run up to the upcoming parliamentary elections, and the activity of democratic institutions in Azerbaijan.

For his part, Lindberg stated that the Council of Europe is ready to support the fostering of European values in Azerbaijan.

Also participating in the meeting were members of the party’s organizing committee – Inglab Ahmadov, Eldar Jahangirov and Nazim Abdullayev, and a member of the Bureau of democratic reforms, Rashad Rzaguliyev.
