Samad Seyidov:”I hope for positive results in the talks with Venice Commission”

“Holding high level of elections to meet international standards is more important than changing the structure of the election commissions. Generally, I don’t think that it will present any problems to make any changes”.
Head of Azerbaijani delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe Samad Seyidov told the journalists.

According to him, the amendments to be made to the Election Code will not cause chaos and confrontation in the country: “The talks with Venice Commission on making amendments to Election Code are continued. I hope for positive results”.
