President signed order on establishing State Commission on Azerbaijan’s Integration to Europe

According to the information entered APA from the press-service of the President’s Office, the commission was formed for the purpose of more strengthening the relations with the European Union and providing the efficient and communicated work on the structure’s preparing and realizing the Action Plan on Azerbaijan.

The deputy of the prime-minister Abid Sharifov was appointed the chairman of the State Commission on Azerbaijan’s Integration to Europe. The foreign affairs minister Elmar Mammedyarov and the economic development ministers Farkhad Aliyev were appointed the deputies of the chairman of the commission. The assistant of the president Ali Asadov, the department directors of the President’s Executive Office Fatma Abdullazade, Shahin Aliyev, Fuad Alasgarov, Novruz Mammedov, Ali Hasanov, Amil Rahimov, the internal affairs minister Ramil Usubov, the national security minister Eldar Mahmudov, the general procurator Zakir Garalov, the justice minister Fikrat Mammedov, the transport minister Ziya Mammedov, the education minister Misir Mardanov, the industry and energetic minister Majid Karimov, the agriculture minister Ismat Abbasov, the labor and social protection of population minister Ali Nagiyev, the communication and information technologies minister Ali Abbasov, the youth, sport and tourism minister Abulfaz Garayev, the finance minister Avaz Alakbarov, the taxes minister Fazil Mammedov, the ecology and natural resources minister Huseyngulu Bagirov, the Ombudsman Elmira Suleymanova, the chairman of the State Customs Committee Kamaladdin Heydarov, the chief of the State Border Service Elchin Guliyev, the chairman of the State Committee on Women’s Problems Zahra Guliyeva, the chairman of the State Committee on Work with Religious Structures Rafig Aliyev, the chairman of the State Statistics Committee Arif Veliyev, the chairman of the Administrative Personnel of the National Bank Elman Rustamov, the deputy of the chairman of the State Committee on Works of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons Sahib Rahimov were accepted to the membership of the commission.

The State Commission should present the offers on forming the working groups in the fields of political, economic, transport and energetic, juridical, security, human rights and democratizing, humanitarian, scientific-educational and other collaborations to the president during one month. Associating the activity of the State Commission with the European Union is charged to Foreign Affairs Ministry and it was also commissioned to the ministry to form appropriate structure for this purpose.
