Ramiz Mehdiyev: "We do not intend to change the format of election commissions in Election Code"

He stated that, regardless of the place of the dialogue representative of NAP will take part there. R.Mehdiyev said that meetings will be permitted as soon as the before election campaign starts: "Executive Power of Baku city will define whether the meting is to be held till May 21"

Responding the questions on the activity of Commission for Combating Corruption, R.Mehdiyev they will examine the Ministries if needed: "The main thing is, the appeals mustn't be anonymous. Information entered the site of the Commission after the meeting on the presentation of the site. It is a pity, this is anonymous again. Few of them are with addresses. The Commission employees have to meet definite persons for investigating the case. If it is anonymous how it can be investigated? The security of the complainant is ensured by law and this will be obeyed".

Confirming the information concerning international organizations technical aiding to Azerbaijan for the purpose of holding the fair elections, R.Mehdiyev stressed that no concrete suggestion has been made yet: "We accept the International organizations with great pleasure if they want to participate. All measures will be implemented for holding democratic, free, fair, open elections following the law. We have expressed our opinion concerning forming election commission. We consider that, such forming of commission is objective and meets the needs of all levels of the society. So, we aren't in the intention of changing the format of election commissions in Election Code. We must take into the consideration of the whole society in this matter. We mustn't meet the interests of only some opposition parties".

Stating of the letters of complain presented to President in the regions to be investigated, R.Mehdiyev said "President is informed about the essence of complaint and result of the investigation". He also said that, the press in Azerbaijan will be supported by state as in Western countries in future.

R.Mehdiyev noted that, illegal deeds of some discharged heads of executive power were investigated and also stated that structure changes will be held in the President's Office: "President has his own instructions and opinion concerning the structure changes in President's Office. Work is done on this matter but it is difficult to tell the time of the changes".
