UK politician appreciates Azerbaijan as western ally and friend

Answering the questions from The European Azerbaijan Society (TEAS) Lord Addington, the deputy Chief Whip of the Liberal Democrat Party, stated the followings:

“The Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) is something which has direct benefit towards energy security in Europe, and hopefully enhances Azerbaijan's ability to supply the market and thus guarantee its national income. I see Azerbaijan as western ally and friend.

Azerbaijan’s policy on religious and ethnic minorities is to be applauded. It’s not only as an example of tolerance but also as a good way to make Azerbaijan a pleasant place for all to live and work.”
