OSCE representatives visit Nakhchivan AR

The chairman of the Supreme Assembly of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (AR) Vasif Talibov has met with the OSCE representatives from the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights Olena Grechcanyuk and Vida Koren Holm who will be in charge of monitoring the presidential elections in the Autonomous Republic.

The chairman of the Supreme Assembly stressed the importance of OSCE’s observing the presidential elections in the country, as this is one of the most important occasions in the country.
Talibov said every possible condition would be created for easing the work of the observers, wishing the guests success at their mission.

Grechcanyuk and Holm noted they would observe electoral campaigns, implementation of electoral legislation and the overall voting process.

During the meeting, the sides discussed further responsibilities of the observers.
