New Brazilian envoy arrives in Azerbaijan

A new Brazilian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Santiago Luis Bento Fernandes Alcazar has already arrived in the country to start his diplomatic mission.

The new head of the diplomatic mission of Brazil in Azerbaijan in the near future will hand copies of credentials to the head of Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, and the original credentials - to the head of the government and will officially start his work, Brazilian Embassy in Baku reported to Trend on Wednesday.

Before being appointed in Azerbaijan Santiago Luis Bento Fernandes Alcazar worked as Brazilian Ambassador to Burkina Faso.

He is to replace on this post the former Brazilian Ambassador Sergio de Souza Fontes Arrudana.
