She is energetic, creative person always being in the search. She was born in 1985 to the family of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Mehriban Aliyeva. Along with the fact that she has devoted herself to her family, Leyla Aliyeva supports a number of charitable and environmental projects in Azerbaijan. Also, being the initiator of public campaign "Justice for Khojaly", she set a goal to bring the truth about the genocide committed in the town of Khojaly by Armenian armed forces against the peaceful Azerbaijani population on 26 February 1992 to the world. The Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation has completely devoted herself to the art. Always friendly and positive, Leyla Aliyeva easily copes with the organization of various projects. In an effort to popularize the culture of Azerbaijan, she has assumed one of the leading roles in this direction.”

The magazine writes that Azerbaijan’s largest non-governmental and non-profit organization, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation was established in 2004 to preserve and promote cultural values
of Azerbaijan.
