Int'l observers take near approach to presidential elections in Azerbaijan

Chairman of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum Krzysztof Bobinski has sent a congratulatory letter to newly elected chairman of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Ranko Krivokapic.

In his letter, Bobinski stressed the importance of observing the presidential elections scheduled for October this year in Azerbaijan and Georgia.

"The elections will be observed by local and international observers, including the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, the European Parliament and the CE Parliamentary Assembly," the letter said.

The OSCE Parliamentary Assembly will choose representatives who will be sent to Azerbaijan and Georgia.
