President Ilham Aliyev visits 12th AITF-2013 Azerbaijan International Travel and Tourism Fair - PHOTOS

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva have today viewed the 12th AITF-2013 Azerbaijan International Travel and Tourism Fair at the Baku Expo Center.

Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfaz Garayev informed the Head of State that the AITF was a fast growing tourism market attracting a large number of international participants and trade visitors from year-to-year. This year, the fair brings together over 200 companies and organizations from 35 countries that present the latest tourism trends in travel, business travel and medical and luxury tourism. For the first time, representatives from Indonesia, Hungary, Slovenia, Thailand, Morocco, France, Canada and Tunisia participate in the fair organized by the Azerbaijan Ministry of Culture and Tourism, ITE Group plc and Iteca Caspian LLC. The fair also sees returning exhibitors as Turkey, Georgia, the Czech Republic, Greece, UAE, Russia, Egypt, and Malaysia.

The fair also provides the opportunity to discover Azerbaijan's tourist potential. A wide range of stands from more than 20 regions of Azerbaijan enhance the tourist destinations on offer, for both domestic and international tour operators.

It was noted that the fair is supported by the World Tourism Organization, Azerbaijan Export & Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO), Azerbaijan National Confederation of Entrepreneurs and International Tourism Trade Fairs Association (ITTFA).
