Romania has strategic partnership with Azerbaijan in the energy field, Romanian Presidential Counselor for strategic affairs and international security, Iulian Chifu told journalists.
"This comes with a lot of substances in the bilateral relations and it does not rely on the energy," Chifu added.
He said the two countries are building also very good strategic relations in trade, transportation, investments.
According to Chifu, Romania supports peaceful solution of protracted conflicts.
"It goes dipper than strategic partnership, than energy cooperation," he said.
Chifu underlined that Romania also supported Azerbaijan in all international organizations, namely in the NATO in the Chicago summit for the final declaration in support for territorial integrities, sovereignty and independence.
