Germany, Ukraine jointly aplly to US President,UN Secretary General on Khojaly Massacre

Head of the Central Council of Azerbaijani Diaspora in Germany, Tengis Sade Baron zu Romkerhall in the frames of visit to Kiev has meet with the Ukraine Azerbaijani Congress executives board chairman Khagani Huseynov, head of the culture department Gurban Abbasov and Chairman of Azerbaijanis Congress in Ukraine Hikmat Javadov.

They signed appeal to US President Barack Obama and UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon on 21st anniversary Khojaly Massacre.

The petition includes recognition of Khojaly massacre by international organizations, settlement of Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict in the frames of international principles and norms and holding sanctions against Armenian state.

It is noted that occupier Armenia have to accept resolutions on the conflict and to fulfill their obligations, staying away from territorial claims.

Further the agreement reads Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity must be restored, and the Azerbaijani hostages must be freed, IDP`s have to return to their native lands.
