Azerbaijani, Kyrgyz FMs consider coop

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has met with his Kyrgyz counterpart Erlan Abdyldaev on the sidelines of the 12th OIC Summit Meeting in Cairo.

The sides discussed the issues of bilateral and regional cooperation, in particular the preparation and conducting of mutual visits at high level and exchanged views of timing the next meeting of the Kyrgyz-Azerbaijani intergovernmental commission.
The meeting also focused on importance of expansion of trade and economic, as well as cultural and humanitarian links between the two countries.

E. Abdyldaev suggested Azerbaijan to conduct activities in connection with the 85th anniversary of Kyrgyz writer Chingiz Aitmatov.
The two foreign Ministers expressed readiness to actively promote cooperation at bilateral and multilateral levels.
