Opposition attempt to use the incident in Ismayilli in their dirty political purposes is inadmissible, according to the Chairman of Ana Vatan Party, MP Fazail Aghamali.
"Such attempts are essentially nothing but a favor for external forces that are trying to impose confrontation in Azerbaijan and secure their interests," Fazail Aghamali told Trend.
The deputy noted with regret that the incident in Ismayilli is taken advantage of by the opposition conducting its activities through manipulation of facts and trying to direct the incident against the Azerbaijani statehood.
"According to my information, today, some people who support the opposition seek to aggravate the situation and use every opportunity to cause the civil conflict," Aghamali said.
According to the deputy, he condemns such anti-national interpretation of events by the opposition and is confident that such efforts will be fruitless.
"The Azerbaijani government is strong enough, and these provocations will not cause harm to it," Agamali said.
He expressed confidence that law enforcement authorities are investigating the objective causes of the incident as well as of its outcomes, and will give a legal assessment.
