President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed an order to celebrate the 90th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev.
The order says Heydar Aliyev has a unique place in the history of Azerbaijan. The Azerbaijani President has signed an order to celebrate on the national level the 90th jubilee of national leader Heydar Aliyev, who made an invaluable contribution to the restoration of the idea of national statehood and expansion of the country's influence in the world.
The order was made taking into account significant historical services of Heydar Aliyev on the way of all-round development of the independent state of Azerbaijan, with the purpose to ensure the decent holding of nationwide 90-year anniversary of the national leader.
The order underlines huge contribution of the prominent statesman who led the country through historical ordeals and tests.
According to the order, the plan of events has been approved on the celebration of Heydar Aliyev’s 90th jubilee and the Cabinet of Ministers has been instructed to fulfill the issues arising from the order.
