Azerbaijan, Qatar eye military coop

Azerbaijan`s Defense minister, colonel-general Safar Abiyev has met Crown Prince of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, Major-General Hamad bin Ali al-Attiyah in Doha.

During the meetings, they discussed existing relationship between the two countries, prospects for military cooperation, regional security issues, as well as the current state of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Colonel-general Safar Abiyev also met his Pakistani and Moroccan counterparts, as well as the Chief of Staff of Belarus as part of the "Predatory Falcon - 3" joint multinational military training symposium.
