Azerbaijan-Belgium relations named as 'fruitful'

“The fruitful relationship between Azerbaijan and Belgium was formed after the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries,” said Ambassador of Belgium to Azerbaijan Lyuk Troen at the reception dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two states.

The Ambassador stressed that both countries have successful history of cooperation and ready to develop this cooperation.

“Belgium was one of the main investor countries in Caucasus,” said the Ambassador and added that his country is continuing to develop relations in the field of trade with Azerbaijan. He also remembered that trade turnover between the two countries increased by 50 percent in recent years.
