Georgian FM invited to visit Baku

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister invited his Georgian counterpart to visit Baku. Azerbaijani ambassador to Georgia Azer Huseyn addressed the invitation and congratulations on behalf of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov on the occasion of appointment to the Foreign Minister of Georgia Maia Panjikidze, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister told Trend on Wednesday.

The sides discussed areas of cooperation and the prospects for its development at the meeting. The friendly relations that exist between the two countries and the need to deepen strategic cooperation were noted.

Azerbaijani Ambassador reiterated the commitment of the official Baku to Georgia's territorial integrity and sovereignty.

Azer Huseyn wished Minister Panjikidze success in her future endeavors.
