Czech ambassador in Baku Radek Matula has expressed his country`s interest in overall development of relations with Azerbaijan.
“Our relations are developing at a rapid pace, and there are no unresolved issues between us,” he told an AzerTAc correspondent.
“This development covers not only oil and gas fields, but all areas. For example, we successfully maintain educational cooperation. Many Azerbaijani and Czech higher educational institutions have bilateral agreements on cooperation, and this will be continued in the future.”
The ambassador said: “Our universities have already embarked on student and teacher exchange.”
He pointed out the significance of cultural cooperation, mentioning the participation of Azerbaijani children in an annual international drawing contest in Czechia.
Matula stressed the importance of expanding humanitarian cooperation. “I believe that expanding economic contacts will pave the way for development of our humanitarian cooperation,” the ambassador added.
