During discussions over Appraisal Document on Individual Partnership Action Plan of Azerbaijan with NATO held in Brussels, the Alliance's representatives appreciated the country's role and contribution, as a reliable partner in the fight against security challenges in the world and in peacekeeping mission in Afghanistan.
The discussions were held at the headquarters of the Alliance with the participation of NATO representatives, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry and State Border Service on Tuesday, the country's Permanent Mission to NATO told Trend.
The sides exchanged views on reforms in Azerbaijan in the field of security, and the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict.
Consultations between NATO and Azerbaijan are held once a year. At present, Azerbaijan is implementing the third phase of Individual Partnership Action Plan with NATO.
