Azerbaijani delegation to attend PACE Autumn Session

The autumn session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) will take place in Strasbourg on October 1-5. The delegation headed by chairman of the Azerbaijani Parliament Committee on International and Interparliamentary Relations, head of the permanent delegation of the Republic to the PACE Samad Seyidov, the Parliament reported.

The delegation includes MPs Elkhan Suleymanov, Sevinj Fataliyeva, Ganira Pashayeva, Sahiba Gafarova, Rafael Huseynov, Sabir Hajiyev, Rovshan Rzayev, Aydin Abbasov and Fazil Mustafa.

The responsibilities undertaken by Russia before the organization, representation of women in political parties, the notion of “political prisoner” and the other issues will be discussed at the meetings.

Rafael Huseynov’s report on the “Protection of international transparency in European Higher Education Area” will be heard and discussed in the session.

Rafael Huseynov, Rovshan Rzayev and Sabir Hajiyev will participate in the “Democracy Forum” to be held in Strasbourg on the sidelines of the visit.
