Development process of Azerbaijan-Pakistan relations mulled

Azerbaijani Minister of Foreign Affairs has met Pakistani counterpart Ms. Hina Rabbani Khar on the sidelines of the 67th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations. The sides exchanged views on the current situation and development prospects of the bilateral relations between the two countries.

Both FMs stressed the importance of intensification of mutual visits and enhancement of the legal framework in the development process of the Azerbaijan-Pakistan relations.

The sides also underlined importance of the cooperation between the two countries on the international organizations and stressed that both countries may support each other.
Foreign Ministers also exchanged views on the issues of the agenda of the 67th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations.

Elmar Mammadyarov invited Pakistani Counterpart to visit Azerbaijan. The invitation was accepted with pleasure.
