Azerbaijan and Czehia has developed a positive cooperation at the bilateral level. Czech ambassador to Azerbaijan Radek Matula said.

He mentioned that the bilateral cooperation in transport sector is rapidly developing. Czech companies are involved in road construction across Baku-Russian border, as well as in reconstruction of Baku-Tiflis-Gars road.

The ambassador said that Czech banks have credited Azerbaijan with an expense of USD 826 mln within last 5 years. The companies invested in the Azerbaijan’s transport sector.

R.Matula said, there is still much room for further enhancement of cooperation between the two countries in the fields of oil-chemistry, natural gas extraction, and military as well as in compiling a map of Baku Metro. At the same time, Czehia is interested in sharing experience in the cattle-breeding.

Azerbaijanis are interested in Czech culture, traditions and cuisine. And the opening ceremony of the “Eden Prague” restaurant held in Baku has proved it once more. This event was organized by Czech embassy in Azerbaijan in cooperation with “Azerish Co” company.
