Azerbaijan`s Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov has met the permanent representatives of OSCE member states. They discussed cooperation between Azerbaijan and OSCE, as well as regional situation, problems facing Azerbaijan.
Mr. Mammadyarov briefed the representatives on the current state of the negotiations to solve the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The Minister also noted that current status quo was dangerous and unacceptable.
“Existing Armenian armed forces in Azerbaijan`s occupied lands is the main obstacle for the peaceful solution of the conflict,” he also added. Mr. Mammadyarov also noted that the settlement of the conflict was important for the cooperation and safety.
