Azerbaijani President holds several meetings - PHOTOS

 President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev yesterday accepted credentials of newly appointed ambassador of Israel Raphael Harpaz.

The Ambassador passed along a ceremonial guard of honor.

President Ilham Aliyev had a conversation with the ambassador.

Raphael Harpaz conveyed Israeli President Shimon Peres`s greetings to the Head of State.

During the meeting, they praised bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Israel.

The sides discussed prospects for further cooperation between the two countries.
The Head of State asked the diplomat to deliver his greetings to President Shimon Peres.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on September 5 received delegation led by Sayed Hasan Mousavi, Iranian vice president in charge of cultural heritage.

Stressing the importance of cultural ties in the bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Iran, President Ilham Aliyev said he highly estimates the upcoming Baku-hosted conference titled “Taste of the Silk Road: Cookery, Culture and Tourism”. The Head of State expressed his confidence that relations between the two countries will develop in the future even more.

Sayed Hasan Mousavi conveyed the greetings and a letter from the Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to the Azerbaijani leader. He said the visit of the Iranian delegation will make an important contribution to the development of relations between Azerbaijan and Iran.

The sides exchanged views on the current status of friendly relations and cooperation between the two neighboring states.

President Ilham Aliyev thanked the guest for the Irani President’s greetings and asked Sayed Hasan Mousavi to pass on his greetings to the President of Iran.
