Top official: 'No one can enforce Azerbaijan'

”Azerbaijan, being an independent state, insists on carrying out independent internal and foreign policy”, deputy chairman of Azerbaijani Parliament Bahar Muradova told journalists.

She said that Azerbaijan will continue its consistent policy in a firm form in spite of open-close form pressure and other threats coming from different sides.

Muradova also mentioned that Azerbaijan again will demonstrate its ability to prevent all pressure attempts against it: “As we know, Azerbaijan hosted an influential international song contest “Eurovision 2012” several months ago. But from the very beginning till the end of this competition, the following duties, the fulfillment liability in corresponding form, the ability to give the adequate estimation to the relations towards our country within it and by preventing the other expectations on this ground, Azerbaijan demonstrated again that no one can enforce it. At the same time Azerbaijan demonstrated by the continuation of its independent policy that it was and will been consistent”.
