Estonian Ambassador to Azerbaijan appointed

President of Estonia Toomas Hendrik Ilves signed decree on appointment Miko Haljas as Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary ambassador of Estonia to Azerbaijan with concurrent accreditation to Ankara (Turkey).

Miko Haljas has been working in Estonia`s Foreign Affairs Ministry since 1995. Haljas has already worked in the embassies of Estonia in Finland and USA.

Since 2006 he has been appointed as ambassador to Croatia with concurrent accreditation to Budapest (Hungary).
