Azerbaijan, Columbia discuss military cooperation

Defense minister of Azerbaijan Safar Abiyev has met the Columbian delegation led by chairperson of the Senate`s second constitutional committee Alexandra Moreno Piraquive.

Abiyev stressed the importance of the Columbian delegation`s visit to Azerbaijan, saying it serves expansion of relationship between the two countries. The minister thanked members of the Columbian Senate for the adoption of the decision on the occupation of Azerbaijani territories by Armenia.

Abiyev briefed the Columbian delegation on the military and political situation in the region and its grave consequences. The minister also underlined the necessity of establishment of military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Columbia.
