Baku simplifies visa process for US citizens

The US citizens wishing to visit Azerbaijan can lodge online application. The Azerbaijani embassy in US facilitated the rules of filing of application. The Embassy of Azerbaijan has outsourced visa processing to Travisa Outsourcing. This innovation is considered to meet the increasing demand, in order to facilitate passport tracking throughout the visa process and for the convenience of the applicants. Azerbaijan visas issued through Travisa Outsourcing typically take 10 business days once all documentation has been submitted.

The consular fee for US Citizens will be $160.00, transit fee - $20 from June 25.
Holders of diplomatic and service passports intending to visit Azerbaijan on official business should apply directly at the Consular Section of the Embassy.
