British lords hold meetings with Azeri officials

The British lords met with Azerbaijani minister of youth and sports Azad Rahimov here.
The guests were informed about youth policy being implemented in Azerbaijan, activity of the Youth Foundation and trainings for Summer Olympic Games in London.

The lords met also with Chairman of Azerbaijan State Committee on Religious Structures Elshad Isgandarov. The latter said the various religious and ethnic groups live in peace and harmony in Azerbaijan.

The British delegation met with deputy chairman of Milli Majlis Valeh Alasgarov and chairman of the international and inter-parliamentary relations Samad Seyidov. The sides stressed importance of boosting cooperation between the Milli Majlis and the House of Lords and MPs` reciprocal visits.

Azerbaijani minister of economic development Shahin Mustafayev also met with the guests. Mustafayev told of socio-economic reforms of the country.

The guests hailed meetings held with the officials adding they would raise awareness of the British community about realities of Azerbaijan.
