Azerbaijan`s Minister of Internal Affairs, colonel-general Ramil Usubov has paid an official visit to Ankara, Turkey. The meeting saw Usubov have a one-on-one and an expanded meeting with his Turkish counterpart Naim Sahin.
Sahin shared impressions on his February visit to Baku, including his meeting with the President of Azerbaijan. He stressed the importance of Usubov`s visit, adding discussions to be held during it would be beneficial for both countries.
“We are one nation two states. We have strong historical, religious, cultural ties.” “We will discuss issues on strengthening cooperation against transnational crime, as well as the preservation of stability.”
During the trip the Azerbaijani minister also visited the Head Office of Turkish Security and Special Anti-Crime Police Units.
