
A Hungarian Parliamentary delegation will visit Azerbaijan at the invitation of its Azerbaijani counterparts.
The delegation headed by chairman of the Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group Marton Dendoshi, will be in Azerbaijan on an official visit on June 5-8 during which it will hold meetings at the Parliament of Azerbaijan and at the ministries of foreign affairs and economic development, the Azerbaijani Embassy in Hungary said.
Members of the parliamentary friendship group are also planning to meet with IDPs, driven away from their native lands as part of Armenian aggression.
Party for a Better Hungary, represented in parliament by 43 MPs, including Dendoshi, submitted a draft resolution on the recognition of Khojaly genocide to the legislature last year. The party plans to make such initiatives in the future.
Member of the ruling Fides party Papchak Franz, who is also mayor of the 14th district of Budapest, intends to discuss prospects of cooperation between the two capitals and sign the document during the upcoming visit to Baku.
