Azerbaijan`s embassy to Moldova marks Republic Day

 Azerbaijan`s embassy to Moldova has organized an official reception to celebrate 28 May- Republic Day of Azerbaijan and the 20th anniversary of establishment of the diplomatic relations between the two countries.

According to the embassy, the event was attended by Moldovan Defense Minister Vitalie Marinuta, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Andrei Popov, as well as members of government and the parliament, representatives of scientific and research centers, the diplomatic corps in Chisinau, cultural figures and the media.

Azerbaijani ambassador Namig Aliyev and Moldovan Defense Minister Vitalie Marinuta made speeches at the event.

The event featured the presentation of an envelope with a stamp marking the 20th anniversary of the founding of the diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Moldova. The envelopes were made jointly by the Moldovan State Enterprise "Posta Moldovei" and Azerbaijani “Azermarka” company.

The event attendees were handed over memory envelopes, as well as books and journals published by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
