“Azerbaijan is one of the most beautiful countries of the world with ancient and rich culture,” said Max TV president Jan Slagter in his interview to Radio-1 of the Netherlands. Slagter spoke of nature, history, traditions, culture, hospitality, cuisine and rapid development of Azerbaijan.

The Max TV president described Azerbaijan as part of Europe, saying the country is moving forward on the pass towards democratic development. He also praised the protection of human rights and freedoms in the country.
